PM Modi Reaffirms Commitment to Tripura’s Growth :  CM Dr Saha

Agartala, 28th May 2026:   Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha on Wednesday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended full support to Tripura’s development and assured continued assistance for the state’s progress.Speaking about his recent meeting with the Prime Minister, Dr. Saha said several important issues related to infrastructure, investment, governance reforms, and financial development were discussed in detail.

“We had a productive discussion focused mainly on Tripura’s development and financial matters. We also talked about deregulation and compliance reforms, where Tripura secured the top position in the country. Our emphasis was on attracting more investors and accelerating growth in the state,” Dr. Saha said.He further stated that Prime Minister Modi assured complete cooperation from the Centre for Tripura’s advancement.

“The Prime Minister has promised all possible help for Tripura. I strongly believe the future of the state is very promising. After meeting him, I feel highly encouraged and optimistic,” the Chief Minister added.Commenting on the appointment of the new Tripura BJP president, Dr. Saha said organisational changes are a regular process within the party.

“Rajib Bhattacharya worked sincerely for the party, and now Abhishek Debroy has taken over the responsibility. I am confident that under his leadership the party organisation and the government will work in close coordination to strengthen the BJP further,” he said.Dr. Saha also noted the growing presence of younger leaders within the party structure, stating that the BJP continues to promote youth leadership at both state and national levels.
