Agartala, 22nd June 2026: Former Tripura Chief Minister and Member of Parliament Biplab Kumar Deb has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for approving financial assistance of Rs 3 lakh from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) for the kidney transplant treatment of Mrs. Mousumi Saha, a resident of Jogendranagar.
Mr. Deb stated that the assistance will provide significant support to Mrs. Saha and her family during her critical medical treatment. He thanked the Prime Minister for his compassionate approach towards patients requiring advanced medical care.
The MP further noted that on previous occasions as well, the Prime Minister has shown sensitivity and concern by approving almost every request submitted for financial assistance related to advanced medical treatment. He said that the Prime Minister’s continued support has brought relief to numerous families facing serious health challenges.
Mr. Deb reiterated his appreciation for the Prime Minister’s commitment to extending timely medical assistance to those in need through the PM National Relief Fund.
