Agartala, 6th December 2024: The Pradesh Congress observed the 69th death anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar with due dignity on Friday. The event was attended by Pradesh Congress President Asish Kumar Saha, MLA Sudip Roy Barman, Chairman Niranjan Das and other party leaders.
Speaking to media persons here, Pradesh Congress President Saha highlighted Dr. Ambedkar’s relentless fight against untouchability through social service. “Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar dedicated his life to eradicating untouchability and ensuring social justice for all. His contributions to the nation are immeasurable,” Saha said.
Saha also emphasized Dr. Ambedkar’s role in protecting the fundamental rights of all citizens by upholding the Constitution. “He worked tirelessly to safeguard the fundamental rights of every Indian by respecting and strengthening the Constitution. The Pradesh Congress continues to follow his guidance and principles,” he added.
