Pratima inaugurates RD office at Kathalia, lays foundation stone in multiple projects at Sonamura

Agartala, January 10, 2023: Inaugurating the Kathalia Division office of Rural Development department in Dhanpur on Tuesday, union minister of state for Social Justice and Empowerment Pratima Bhoumik said that the state government is working to realize Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of Sabka Saath, Sabka Bikas.

Just as the central government has taken initiatives to create a self-reliant India, the state government is also working towards creating a self-reliant Tripura, she added.

On the occasion, the MoS Bhoumik said that the state government is working on various plans for the overall development of the state and the welfare of the people. The state government is also getting all kinds of support from the central government.

In Dhanpur, the Union State Minister also inaugurated the subdivision office of the Rural Development Department and a market stall.

Bhoumik laid the foundation stone of a bridge over Gomati river at Baniachara in Kathalia block on Tuesday. The construction of this bridge will cost Rs 1 crore 45 lakh.

 Moreover, the Union State Minister laid the foundation stone for the construction of the two-storey building of Baniachara High School and the construction of the rural road in Telkazla. The Union Minister of State also inaugurated a 20-room market stall in South Maheshpur and a scientific waste management centre under the Swachh Bharat Mission project.
