Protest against National Education Policy in Tripura, conference to be held in Delhi

Agartala, January 31: A protest program was organized by the All India Save Education Committee in front of Ujjayanta Palace in Agartala on Wednesday, demanding the cancellation of the National Education Policy. The protesters accused the central government of distorting history and science in the new curriculum and ignoring the views of eminent educationists.

The organization also announced that it will hold an All India Education Conference at the Ghalib Institute Auditorium in Delhi on February 3, where representatives from about 23 states will participate. Har Kishore Bhowmik, a member of the Tripura State Committee of the organization, said that he will attend the conference and voice his opposition to the National Education Policy.
