Agartala, 27th July 2026 : Tripura’s Minister for Animal Resources Development (ARDD), Fisheries, and Scheduled Caste Welfare, Sudhangshu Das, is intensifying efforts to monitor grassroots progress of development initiatives. Continuing this practice, a district-level review meeting was held on Monday at the Unakoti Circuit House under his chairmanship.
The meeting was attended by Unakoti District Magistrate and Collector Megha Jain (IAS), Unakoti Zilla Parishad Sabhadhipati Amalendu Das, senior officials from line departments, and district-level officers of ARDD, Fisheries, and SC Welfare.
During the session, the minister reviewed the implementation status of various development projects under his departments. Emphasis was placed on identifying shortcomings or bottlenecks at the earliest and ensuring corrective measures so that government schemes reach genuine beneficiaries effectively.
Minister Das stated, “The purpose of holding such review meetings every three months is to evaluate field-level progress, identify problems quickly, and ensure timely solutions. The benefits of government projects must reach the intended recipients without delay. Collective effort, sincerity, and proactive engagement from officials will make district development more dynamic. Regular monitoring will help ensure that projects remain effective and people-oriented.”
The minister highlighted that coordinated initiatives between administration and departments are crucial for sustaining development momentum. He assured that future review meetings will continue to closely track project implementation, making development activities more impactful and citizen-centric.
