Agartala, 27th July 2026 : Tripura Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Rajib Bhattacharjee on Monday met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi during a courtesy meeting.
Sharing details of the meeting, Bhattacharjee said that discussions were held on the current political situation in Tripura and various development-related issues concerning the state.
The MP described the interaction as fruitful and said several important matters related to Tripura’s progress and future development were discussed. He highlighted the importance of continued cooperation between the Centre and the state government for accelerating development initiatives.
The meeting comes amid ongoing efforts to strengthen developmental activities and address key issues affecting Tripura. Bhattacharya expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet the Union Home Minister and said the discussion would help further the interests of the state and its people.
