Agartala, November 16, 2023: The foundation stone for the construction of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Amarpur Mandal party office was inaugurated through a traditional Bhoomi Pooja ceremony on Thursday.
The Bhumi Puja and foundation stone laying event were attended by key political figures, including BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee, Amarpur MLA Ranjit Das, Matabari MLA Abhishek Debroy, District Prabhari Ratan Ghosh, and 42-Amarpur mandal president Sanjay Chakraborty, alongside other party leaders.
The ruling party’s decision to establish its own party office in the Amarpur Mandal marks a significant step in enhancing organizational infrastructure. The upcoming office will be constructed on land owned by the party, situated in the vicinity of the west side of Amar Sagar, adjacent to the Punjab National Bank.
The Bhoomi Pooja and foundation stone-laying ceremony were part of a broader initiative organized after a party organizational meeting at the Amarpur town hall. BJP state president Bhattacharjee, addressing the attendees, expressed the importance of such organizational milestones and emphasized the party’s commitment to strengthening its presence in the region.
The construction of the BJP Amarpur Mandal party office is anticipated to contribute to the party’s grassroots activities and further consolidate its standing within the local community. The Bhoomi Pooja ceremony, accompanied by the inauguration of Shinyas, marks a symbolic commencement of the construction process for the party’s dedicated office in the region.
