Agartala, July 17, 2023: Badal Chandra Deb, a retired army person, drowned in water body at Mahadev Tilla in Khowai sub-division.
It is reported that around 12 noon on Monday, Badal Chandra Deb suddenly slipped and fell into the pond while working in the pond of his home. But Badal Chandra Deb could not get out of the pond due to physical illness.
Later, hearing the screams of Badal, the people of the house rushed to the spot. The firemen were immediately informed. The firemen immediately rushed to the spot after receiving the information and rescued and brought Khowai to the hospital.
The doctor on duty at the hospital declared Badal Chandra Deb dead. The incident cast a shadow of mourning on the entire area.
