Agartala, October 27, 2022: The Rotary Club of Agartala city has been organizing various public welfare and public service activities in Agartala city and entire state for more than two decades. Exactly twenty years back, Agartala City’s Rotary Club was established as the first Rotary Club in Tripura. This year various programs of the club are already underway.
Speaking to reporters here, president Achintya Bhattacharjee said “A Rotary district level seminar titled “Imagination” is going to be held at Nazrul Kalakshetra here on Sunday next from 4 PM. This seminar will mainly focus on what is the contribution of rotary clubs in the society, what is their image, hair splitting discussion meeting will be held. The present Governor of Rotary District-3240 Dr Krishnab Pari will officially inaugurate this seminar. Former Governor-3250 Sandeep Narao will be present as the chief guest. Manas Chowdhury and Subhashis Chattopadhyay of the former Governor have agreed to be present as speakers. District Chairman of Public Image Taimur Raja Chowdhury will also be present. Assistant Governor Subhabrata Deb will be there. Two well-known speakers will be present in this seminar to bring this great initiative to the masses. Eminent cardiologist and orator Dr Kunal Sarkar and renowned media personality of Zee-24 Ghanta Co-Editor Moupiya Nandi will also remain present.”
Everyone who wants to know about ‘Rotary’ is cordially invited to this beautiful discussion meeting. In view of this seminar, on that day i.e. October 30 from 10 am in Nazrul Kalakshetra, sit-and-draw competition will be held in three categories. A total of 15 people will be awarded at the end of the evening program. The competition will be announced at Nazrul Kalakshetra on October 30 at 10 am. Only those selected by the three judges will be awarded and the decision of the judges will be final. On October 29, Agartala City’s Rotary Club will organize Club Assembly and District Governor’s visit at ST Elite Hotel in the city.
