RSS begins 7-day training course in North Tripura

Agartala, 21st May 2025:   The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) commenced its seven-day primary education course in North Tripura district yesterday evening at the Government Girls’ School in Dharmanagar. The event was attended by various dignitaries and participants and is designed to provide training in physical activities, intellectual debates, and service-oriented skills.

The program was inaugurated by Bimal Kanti Roy, retired Inspector General of Tripura Police, who represents the RSS Tripura branch. Also present were North Tripura district branch chairman Vivekananda Bhattacharjee, field assistant physical chief Sanjay Kumar Deb, divisional pracharak Pradip Debbarma and other officials.

A total of 49 students from across North Tripura enrolled in the course, with the overall attendance reaching 109, including teachers, lecturers, and officers. The daily schedule will run from 4:20 AM to 10 PM culminating on May 28.

In adherence to strict discipline, mobile phone usage is prohibited throughout the training period. Students will receive urgent updates through designated members present at the venue. Gourav Dey has been appointed to oversee the proceedings of the training sessions, while North Tripura District Office Bijoy Bhattacharjee managed the inaugural day’s activities.

The program has drawn participation from professionals, including doctors, lawyers, teachers, businessmen and administrative officials. Organizers anticipate an increase in student participation in the coming days, further strengthening the outreach and impact of the training initiative.
