Agartala, January 16, 2023: An all-party meeting was held at Santirbazar Sub-Divisional Magistrate’s office ahead of the upcoming assembly elections.
Santibazar Sub-Divisional Magistrate Abedananda Baidya is working continuously on “Mission Zero Poll Violence”. The district administration is continuing its efforts to ensure that people can vote in a festive mood in case of any untoward incident in the assembly elections. Assembly elections can be announced at any time and what needs to be done after the declaration of election were discussed in the meeting.
The representatives of all the political parties of Santirbazar subdivision were present in the conference hall of the office of Santirbazar SDM on Monday to inform about the steps to be taken by the administration.
Through discussion, the SDM Baidya informed everyone about the election rules. Through this discussion, the leaders of different parties presented their queries and the administrative official replied them. At the end of the discussion meeting, the SDM briefed the media persons regarding this programme.
