Dharmanagar, July 14:  With a demand to convert the Indranagar High School into English medium in order to facilitate the students in the ADC Village of Noaganj, parents along with students staged protest by locking the school gate on Thursday.

Reportedly, the school was first locked on June 20 last as part of the demand for the conversion of school into an English medium. Later the school was reopened after the concerned authorities assured the guardians of meeting their demand after the election.

But as the demands have not been met even after the election got over, the students and parents once again staged protest by locking the school gate on Thursday. Later the blockade was lifted after getting assurance of meeting the demands within next 15-20 days.
