Agartala, 22nd August 2026 : Twenty-two students of the School of Science, Institute for All Competitive Exams, Agartala, have secured positions in the Agriculture Officer, TAFS Grade-I (Group-B Gazetted) recruitment examination conducted by the Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC).
The results were declared on the evening of August 21 through TPSC Notification F.11(12-7)-Rectt/TPSC/2025 (Vol-I). According to the institution, 16 of its 22 successful candidates are women, accounting for nearly 73 per cent of the total selections.
The successful women candidates are Debasree Bhowmik, Angkita Baidya, Trisha Dhar Choudhury, Tushnima Chaudhuri, Payel Debnath, Maria Millenniumi Ranglong, Ayesha Debbarma, Renuka Molsom, Arpita Debbarma, Rooja Kalai, Rabina Chakma, Laxmi Prava Das, Ankita Das, Khumpui Debbarma, Rody Darlong and Dipika Jamatia.
The six successful male candidates are Animesh Sarkar, Aitorma Debbarma, Kanta Tripura, Hitlar Reang, Mrinmoy Das and Kusum Ram Reang.
The institute said the candidates belong to UR, ST and SC categories and described the achievement as a significant milestone in its 38-year journey. It also highlighted the growing participation of women in competitive government recruitment examinations.
School of Science Principal Abhijit Bhattacharjee congratulated the successful candidates and their families, while acknowledging the efforts of faculty members and support staff.
The institution stated that it has produced 235 successful candidates in TCS/TPS Grade-II examinations and more than 2,500 successful candidates across different competitive examinations. It further claimed that 221 candidates secured government jobs in 2025 alone.
