Agartala, 15th May 2024: Two youths sustained severe injuries following a scooty accident on Amtali-Khayerpur Bypass road. The incident took place in the early morning of Wednesday.
Eyewitnesses report that the two youths were riding together when they lost control of their vehicle, resulting in the devastating accident. The local fire brigade was promptly informed and swiftly arrived at the scene to administer aid. The victims were immediately transported to GB Hospital for emergency care.
Upon arrival at GB Hospital, medical staff assessed the injuries and commenced treatment. One of the youths is reported to be in a critical condition, raising concerns about his chances of recovery.
A spokesperson for the fire brigade shared details of the rescue operation, highlighting the quick response of both the local people and the fire service personnel. “Our team acted immediately upon receiving the call, and we were able to provide the necessary assistance to ensure the youths received the urgent care they needed,” said the fireman.
