Agartala, September 6: Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha on Wednesday said that there is no greater service than serving the people God exists within every individual.
“God can only be found through service to humanity, and there is no greater service than serving the people, as God exists within them,” said Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha during his inauguration of the Janmashtami festival organized by the Tripura Yadav Mahasabha at Shri Krishna Temple in Agartala today.
He emphasized that it is impossible for people to progress without the blessings of God, as God exists within every living being.
The chief minister also expressed the idea that both demons and divinity coexist within humans, and it is essential to eliminate negative forces (Asuras) in favor of promoting divinity.
“This will benefit both society and the environment. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a religious atmosphere is being observed across the country. The Prime Minister is moving the country forward by prioritizing the preservation of our traditional culture. The current state government is also working in that direction,” he said.
In the conclusion of the opening ceremony, Dr Saha distributed prizes to the participants of the Drawing Competition and the Krishna Dressing Competition.
In attendance at the event were Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumder, Yadav Mahasabha President Debabrata Ghosh, and General Secretary Subrata Ghosh. Pramod Lal Ghosh, chairman of the Yadav Mahasabha, delivered the welcome speech during the opening ceremony.
