Agartala, 10th September 2023: In a proactive move, the Seva Dal, under the dynamic leadership of State Congress President Ashish Kumar Saha, convened a significant meeting at Congress Bhavan to mark the anniversary of Seva Dal and discuss pivotal strategies. The focal point of this gathering was the announcement of the National Service Team’s Foundation Day celebration scheduled for December 28.
Prominent figures including North East Seva Dal in-charge Chandan Barua, Seva Dal In-charge Tripura Seva Dal Sukanta Bhattacharya, and State Seva Dal President Nitya Gopal Rudrapal graced the meeting with their presence. The event was a testament to their shared commitment to strengthening the Seva Dal’s organizational structure and bolstering their service to the people.
The gathering, held in a spirit of unity and camaraderie, also saw a unanimous decision to pursue the realization of demands through a grassroots people’s movement. Addressing the assembly, President Ashish Kumar Saha articulated the Congress party’s resolute stance in the run-up to the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, emphasizing their intention to harness the people’s skepticism towards the BJP.
