Agartala, December 30, 2022: The Students’ Federation of India (SFI) state committee celebrated its 53rd foundation day in the premises of Chhatra-Yuva Bhavan, Paradise Chowmuhani here on Friday.
Speaking to media persons about the significance of the day and students’ body’s activities, SFI state secretary Sandipan Deb said “On this auspicious day, we raise voice to unite on the demand of education and employment, and intensify movement for restoring democracy in the state. The educational sector of the state has been immensely affected and attempts are being made to destroy those were achieved. In view of all these, SFI is struggling and until and unless, the present BJP-led government is not ousted, our movement will not stop.”
“Aiming to restore democracy and establish rule of law in the state, the students have no other alternative to wipe away the BJP-led government from the state. All students in this state has to pledge from this foundation day and we believe that the supporters of SFI will intensify movement to establish a pro-students and pro-people government in the coming days”, he added.
