On World Environment Day, Shyam Sundar Co Jewellers have always raised a hue and cry about the damage being done by irresponsible deforestation – leading to the threat of global warming and the fear of an impending disaster in terms of risks to survival of life in this planet.
In a press communique, it has been informed “This year, on 5th June – World Environment Day – we are running a campaign to create awareness of this threat to our environment and the need to undo the damage before it is too late.”
“At the ground level, Shyam Sundar Co. Jewellers has taken the initiative to plant trees and help to create a green cover for the future and is going all out to do this.”
“In Tripura, the organisation has taken up ‘tree planting drives’ at different levels. And started with planting trees at Shyamalima Apartment & Rabindra Palli Quarter Complex, Agartala to add a little green in their living space. The members and specially children of the housing complexes will undertake to look after the planted trees.”
The objective is to be actively involved in this much needed exercise and spread the message for a greener world.
