Skill development workshop for veterinary doctors held in Agartala

Agartala, 7th March 2025:  The Animal Resources Development Department organized a skill development workshop for veterinary doctors at Pragya Bhavan here today. The workshop aimed to enhance the capabilities of veterinary professionals in protecting animal health.

Inaugurating the workshop, ARD Minister Sudhangshu Das emphasized the workshop’s significance in the current context of rapidly changing weather and environmental conditions.

Speaking to reporters, the minister stated, “With the shifting environment, there is an increased likelihood of animals being affected by various diseases. This special training workshop has been organized to equip our veterinary doctors with the necessary skills to address these challenges.”

Minister Das also highlighted the broader goal of maintaining environmental cleanliness by ensuring animal safety. The workshop witnessed active participation from veterinary doctors across the state, reflecting the commitment to advancing animal welfare initiatives.
