Agartala, September 11, 2022: Slim and fit, an institution to keep the health of girls and women fit have organized a blood donation camp at their institute’s premises here on Sunday.
Speaking to media persons, Pratima Bhoumik said “This Slim and Fit institute has been working for the last 10 years. It is indeed a matter of happiness that the institute is managed by women for the past one decade. So far, I have come to know that more than 50 women are donating blood in this camp.”
“Today is also a big day as Swami Vivekananda had addressed at Chicago and it’s the 129th celebration. According to me it is significant day. Their institution named ‘Slim and Fit’ reveal that if the health goes well, then we can work well. Moreover, the expenses spent for visiting doctors and treatment in hospitals will be reduced”, she added.
Bhoumik also appealed people of the state to come forward in initiating such activities done by Slim and Fit. “I believe this institution will gather more women in the coming days and ask everyone to support them in the coming days”, she also added.
