Social Organizations, Leaders Contribute Significantly for Flood Relief

Agartala, 27th August 2024:  To support the state government in flood relief, many individuals, as well as MLAs, Ministers, and social organizations, came forward with donations on Tuesday.

Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha informed today, Minister Sushanta Chowdhury donated ₹1,00,000, Chandra Sekhar Deb, Mandal President of Banamalipur, donated ₹10,000, and Faculty Members of Tripura Medical College and Dr. BRAM Teaching Hospital donated ₹1,00,000. Additionally, the Karmachari Sangha (TMC & Nursing College) donated ₹30,000.

Apart from them, the Indian Dental Association (IDA) donated ₹1,25,000, MLA Ratan Chakraborty donated ₹80,000, the Sri Sri Ganesh Puja Committee of Kashipur donated ₹50,000, Jagrata Sangha of Surjyamaninagar donated ₹10,000, Arabinda Sangha of AD Nagar donated ₹51,000, Kishalaya Ghosh & Miss Anwesha Ghosh donated ₹30,000, Kanailal Acharjee donated ₹25,000, Bishal Saha of Santipara donated ₹10,001, and Biswajit Shil donated ₹10,000.

Tripura SSA Teachers Welfare Association: ₹1,00,000, All India UCO Bank Divyangjan Employees Welfare Association: ₹15,000,  Santi Das: ₹10,000, All TRLM Staff, RD Department: ₹52,600, Jewels Association: ₹ 11,000, Puri Prasad Debbarma: ₹5,000

Minister Ratan Lal Nath donated ₹ 51,780, Tripura Natural Gas Co Ltd: ₹ 10,00,000,  Swapan Chandra Das(Retired Judge): ₹ 50,000, Tripura Retired Doctor’s Association: ₹ 50,000, Nabadal Banik, Chairman TIDC: ₹ 35,000
