South Tripura DM and Santirbazar SDM offices’ hold flag march

Agartala, 14th January 2023;  A flag march with police and central forces was organized in two assembly constituencies of Santirbazar subdivision on Saturday, focusing on zero poll violence in the upcoming 2023 assembly elections.

Today’s flag march started from Patichhari area of Santirbazar sub-division and ended at Jolaibari covering Santirbazar town and Baikhora Bazar.

The flag march was attended by District Magistrate of South District Saju Vaheed A, Superintendent of Police of South District Kulwant Singh, Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Santirbazar sub-division Abedananda Baidya, SDPO Pannalal Sen, OC of Shanti Bazar Police Station Anupam Das, OC of Baikhora Police Station Bishnu Chandra Das of Manpathar Outpost Police Station, OC Jayanta Das and other officials.

Speaking to the media about today’s flag march, the DM said that he wants to convey a message to everyone through this flag march so that everyone can come forward to vote in a festive mood without fear in the upcoming 2023 assembly elections.

This program is undertaken to ensure that the procession is always with the people. DM also said that this program will be held in the entire South Tripura district. On this day, the people of the sub-division are very excited to witness this flag march.
