Speaker Rampada Jamatia inspects Bagma railway station ahead of inauguration

Agartala, 28th May 2026:  Bagma Railway Station is all set to usher in a new chapter of connectivity and development, with final preparations underway ahead of its grand inauguration. On Thursday, Speaker of the Tripura Legislative Assembly Rampada Jamatia visited the station along with a high-level delegation to review the readiness of the newly developed infrastructure.

The delegation included the Vice Chairman of Tepania Panchayat Samiti, BDO of Tepania RD Block, Executive Engineer of RD Udaipur Division, SDO of Killa RD Division, Technical Assistant of Tepania RD Block, elected representatives, and the Incharge of Bagabasa Gram Panchayat.

During the inspection, the Speaker closely reviewed various station facilities and assessed the newly constructed paver block approach road aimed at ensuring smooth public connectivity to the railway station. He directed the concerned officials to expedite all pending maintenance works and ensure that every aspect of the project is completed within the stipulated timeframe before the inauguration ceremony.

Officials briefed the delegation on the progress of the remaining works and assured that all necessary preparations would be completed soon. The upcoming inauguration of the railway station is expected to significantly boost transportation and connectivity in the Bagma region, benefiting commuters and local residents alike.
