State BJP leaders confident of victory in Bengal, says people want freedom from TMC

Agartala, 7th May 2024:  The ruling BJP leaders of the state who have gone to West Bengal for election campaigning have expressed their confidence in BJP’s victory, claiming that the people of Bengal want to get rid of the misrule of Trinamool Congress.

Speaking with reporters, BJP general secretary Amit Rakshit who is Srirampur Lok Sabha seat said that many leaders from Tripura went to West Bengal for campaigning and are receiving huge responses.

“We are receiving good responses from the people of West Bengal during our campaigning. People are coming out of their homes in support of BJP, which indicates BJP’s good result in Bengal. The result will be good, which was never thought by anyone,” he said.

Around 30 leaders, including Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, along with other MLAs and ministers from the state, are campaigning for BJP in West Bengal for the Lok Sabha elections.

The BJP president Rajib Bhattcharya, Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath, Social Welfare Minister Tinku Roy, ARDD Minister Sudhangshu Das, and many other leaders are in the field in Bengal and holding a series of campaigns for the BJP candidates.

When asked whether the party is facing any obstacles during poll campaigning, the BJP leader said, “During campaigning, we are facing obstacles. But out of frustration, they are destroying the campaigning materials, launching verbal attacks. People have accepted the BJP candidates as they are fed up with the misrule of Trinamool Congress. People are ready to cast votes for BJP as they want freedom from Trinamool.”
