Agartala, June 19, 2023: Candidates who appeared for the Secondary Teachers’ Graduate Test (STGT) in various parts of Tripura assembled in front of the City Centre on Monday, urging the state government for quick announcement of their examination results.

Expressing their frustration, the protesters highlighted the discrepancy in the timing of the Test Eligibility Test (TET) and STGT exams. They pointed out that despite the TET exam being conducted after the STGT exam, TET candidates received their results ahead of them.

The STGT candidates expressed concern over the prolonged delay, as it has been 8-9 months since they took the examination, yet there has been no communication regarding their results.

The demonstrators appealed to Chief Minister Manik Saha to intervene and address this issue urgently, emphasizing the need for a swift resolution. They called upon the government to take immediate action to ensure the timely publication of the STGT results, providing clarity and relief to the aspiring teachers awaiting their outcomes.
