Agartala, 8th September 2025 :   East Agartala Police have recovered stolen gold ornaments, laptops and a car battery handing them over to their rightful owners after completing all legal formalities. The items were returned to nine individuals earlier today.

Speaking to media personnel here, Additional Superintendent of Police Dhruv Nath confirmed the recovery and detailed the investigation. Nath said that the case began nearly six weeks ago when a youth reported the theft of his car battery from within the city. A formal complaint was lodged prompting police to launch an investigation.

Acting on confidential intelligence, police conducted multiple raids across different locations. These efforts ultimately led to the recovery of the stolen items, including the gold jewellery and electronic devices.
