Agartala, 12th August 2025:   Agriculture and Farmer’s Welfare Minister Ratan Lal Nath today said that the constitution and democracy of India are so strong that it is not seen in any other country.

Minister Nath said this while inaugurating a Mega Quiz Competition organised on the occasion of Har Ghar Tiranga at the Mohanpur Municipal Council premises.

The event was arranged by the Mohanpur Municipal Council and the youths of the Mohanpur Assembly Constituency.

Addressing the event, the Minister said that after Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed to us, we are celebrating Har Ghar Tiranga. He said that today also, we will distribute flags among the students.

“This national flag is our soul. I convey my best wishes to the students who are participating in the quiz competition. Students are the future of the country. Some students will become teachers, IPS, IAS, scientists, professors. Students will decide how a country will run. We must maintain transparency in every aspect,” said the Minister.

The Minister said that there are many people including Binay, Badal, Dinesh, Matangini Hazra, and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose who have sacrificed themselves for the freedom of India. “We got freedom but we must protect our freedom.

Till now, to protect the sovereignty of the country, security forces are sacrificing their lives on the border. For them, we are sleeping peacefully. Border guards are deployed on the borders of our country to protect our sovereignty. To destroy our sovereignty, there are some countries constantly attacking us. The constitution and democracy of our country are so strong that it is not seen in any other country. Our neighboring countries Bangladesh and Pakistan have undergone military coups, Sri Lanka is on the verge of its end today. Because of our country’s constitution and strong democracy, we are still united and we have become a strong state,” he said.

In today’s quiz competition Jui Das and Joydip Deb of Harinakola high school came first, Debalina Bhowmik and Uditi Sharma of Fatikchara English Medium HS School came second and Shubranil Saha and Shayan Das of Mohanpur Class XII School came third
