Agartala, 8th August 2026 : Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury emphasised the need to further strengthen the BJP’s organisational structure and deepen its connection with people while addressing a district-level training programme organised by the party’s Sadar Town district unit.

Chowdhury participated in the ‘Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Training Mega-Campaign–2026’, where party workers held discussions on the BJP’s ideology, organisational methods and ways to make the party more effective at the grassroots level.

The Minister said the deliberations focused particularly on strengthening the organisation from the booth level and making its functioning more organised, resilient and people-oriented.

He stressed that party workers must remain committed to serving ordinary citizens and expanding public welfare activities. According to Chowdhury, the principles and philosophy of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, particularly his concept of ‘Integral Humanism’, should continue to guide the organisation’s approach towards society and public service.

Chowdhury said the BJP is advancing with a clear commitment to strengthening its organisational foundation while expanding its role in serving the people.

He described the training programme as an important platform for exchanging views, enhancing organisational understanding and reinforcing the commitment of party workers towards public welfare.

The Minister maintained that a stronger grassroots organisation and sustained public service would remain central to the BJP’s efforts to consolidate its presence among the people.
