Sushanta greets people on the occasion of Mata Tripurasundari Puja and Diwali

Agartala, November 11: The Food, Transport and Tourism minister Sushanta Chowdhury on Saturday extended his greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of Mata Tripurasundari Puja and Diwali, the festival of lights. In a message, he said that this festival inspires everyone to move towards the path of light and righteousness.

He said that like every year, millions of devotees will throng the fair grounds at Udaipur and other places to participate in the worship of Sri Sri Mata Tripurasundari, the patron goddess of Tripura. He said that the fairs and festivals will become lively with the presence of the people and their devotion.

He congratulated the youths of the state who volunteer every year to make the festival successful and help the pilgrims. He also appreciated the transporters and helpers who facilitate the smooth and proper darshan of the goddess. He said that the state government is also ready to preserve the dignity and glory of this traditional festival and ensure the safety and security of the people.

He appealed to the people to cooperate with the administration and the organizers and avoid any untoward incident during the festival. He said that he firmly believes that with devotion and dedication, the people of Tripura will be able to make this festival a proper success.

He wished everyone a safe and happy festival and prayed to Mata Tripurasundari to bless the state with peace and prosperity.
