Thieves looted cattle from Amtali

Agartala, 10th December 2023:    In a disturbing turn of events, a quiet neighborhood in the vicinity of Rani Farm Jharjharia JB School, under Amtali police station, was plunged into chaos as a daring gang of thieves struck, pilfering six cows from three unsuspecting families in a single night.

The victims of this audacious act include Jhuton Shukla Das, Indrajit Bhowmik, and Santosh Roy, who awoke today morning to the shocking realization that their valuable livestock had been brazenly stolen while they slept. The perpetrators strategically left a car abandoned in the grounds of Jharjharia JB School, using it as their getaway vehicle after successfully looting the three households. Despite the swift response of local residents, who gathered to search for the missing cattle, the thieves managed to evade capture. The distressed families promptly reported the theft to the Amtali Police Station, with the assistance of concerned local residents. As of the time of reporting, there has been no visible police presence at the scene, adding to the frustration and anxiety of the victimized families.
