Agartala, 19th January 2025: The third Unakoti District Conference of MGN Rega Karmacharya Kalyan Samiti took place on Sunday at the Srirampur Suryamani Memorial High School in Kailashahar. The event was inaugurated by Tinku Roy, the MLA of Chandipur Assembly Constituency and Minister of the State Government, who lit the ceremonial lamp to mark the beginning of the conference.
In addition to Minister Roy, the conference was attended by several dignitaries, including Chandipur Panchayat Samiti Chairperson Sampa Das Pal, Vice Chairman Vinay Singh, Unakoti Zilla Parishad Sabhadhipati Amalendu Das, and other esteemed guests. A large number of Gram Rozgar Sevak (GRS) members from all the Gram Panchayats of Unakoti district participated in the conference, which focused on issues related to the welfare of MGN Rega workers.
During the session, Minister Tinku Roy addressed the gathering, discussing various concerns of the Karmacharya Kalyan Samiti and its members. The conference concluded with the formation of the new District Committee of the MGN Rega Karmacharya Kalyan Samiti, marking a significant step towards strengthening the Samiti’s work in the district.
