Agartala, 17th June 2025: A pall of grief has engulfed Moni Sardar Para at Chalitachari following the tragic death of three-year-old Nimisha Tripura this afternoon.
According to family sources, Nimisha’s dead body was found near a water tank beside her home. She was rushed to Manubazar Hospital, where the attending physician Dr. Debajit Majumdar pronounced her dead.
Authorities were promptly informed and a forensic team arrived to commence investigations. While the cause of death remains unclear, officials are probing whether it was an accident or if there are other underlying factors.
Residents of Chalitachari are in shock, mourning the devastating loss. Nimisha’s family remains inconsolable, with relatives and neighbors expressing deep sorrow over the tragedy. The child’s body is set to undergo an autopsy tomorrow before being handed over to the family for final rites.
