Agartala, 8th June 2025: Tipra Motha party (TMP) held a crucial meeting to submit a memorandum on the illegal Bangladeshi issue at Pramod Nagar Community Hall in Jampuijala Block in the presence of party MLAs this afternoon.
The party (TMP) is set to submit a deputation to the District Magistrate of Sepahijala on June 13.
During the meeting, under the leadership of two MLAs Subodh Debbarma and Biswajit Kalai discussions were held on identifying individuals residing illegally in various areas – including those who have come from Bangladesh and other countries – and handing them over to the police.
Today’s meeting attended by Sanjit Debbarma, Central Zonal Chairman of TTAADC; Budha Debbarma, President of the Charilam Tipra Motha Block; leaders from women wing (TWF) and other office bearers.
On June 13, around 6,000 party workers will submit a deputation to Sepahijala DM Dr. Siddharth Shiv Jaiswal. This initiative has been undertaken by the party under the directive of the party’s supremo, Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma. Party workers have been instructed to identify and hand over to the administration those who are illegally residing in India, particularly from Bangladesh.
