Date:

Agartala, 18th April 2026:   Following the announcement of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) election results, Tipra Motha candidate James Debbarma, who emerged victorious from the 12-Ramchandraghat constituency, drew attention with a compassionate initiative. Amid the celebrations, he extended support to two specially-abled girls from the area, handing over assistance to their families.

Residents praised Debbarma’s effort to go beyond political triumph and share the joy of victory with marginalized sections of society. According to local sources, the girls’ families face financial hardship, making the newly elected representative’s gesture particularly meaningful.

“This victory belongs to the people,” Debbarma said. “It is our duty to stand by them in both happiness and sorrow. I feel truly delighted to support these children.”

The initiative has already sent a positive message across the constituency. Locals believe such humane actions by public representatives will continue to inspire society in the future.
