Agartala, 5th December 2024: A traffic disruption took place this morning on the national highway in the Jangalia area of Bishalgarh sub-division when a passenger bus collided with a rubber-laden lorry. The incident caused significant hardship for commuters as traffic came to a standstill.
The collision happened when a bus was parked on the side of the road, and passengers were alighting. At that moment, a lorry carrying rubber lost control and struck the bus. The lorry driver sustained minor injuries as a result of the accident.
The sudden impact brought traffic to a halt, creating a challenging situation for ordinary passengers who faced extreme difficulty in their travels. Efforts are underway to clear the road and restore normal traffic flow.
