Tragic collision in city injures TIT students and driver

Agartala, 14th March 2024:  In a distressing turn of events, several students and drivers affiliated with the Tripura Institute of Technology (TIT) have been reported seriously injured following a severe road accident. The incident took place on Thursday in the Goala Basti area Airport Road area of the capital when a tripper collided with a bus carrying the victims.

Eyewitnesses at the scene acted swiftly, alerting the fire brigade who promptly arrived to extricate the injured parties and facilitate their transport to the nearest medical facility. The gravity of the accident drew immediate attention across social media platforms, including a statement from Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha. The Chief Minister expressed his deep concern for those affected and extended his heartfelt wishes for their rapid recovery.

In light of today’s events, Chief Minister Saha has taken to social media to emphasize the importance of vehicular safety. He implores citizens to exercise increased caution while driving, in hopes of preventing future tragedies of this nature.
