Agartala, January 19: In a heart-wrenching incident last Wednesday, Subhash Mahajan, a dedicated storekeeper of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, lost his life in a tragic accident in the Damdama area of Sabroom. Accompanied by the director of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Minister Chowdhury visited the residence of the late Subhash Mahajan on Friday evening to pay his respects.

In a gesture of financial assistance, the Minister announced a sum of Rs 3 lakhs to help the family cope with immediate needs.
Furthermore, Minister Chowdhury assured the family that a government job would be provided soon to a member of Subhash’s family under the state government’s die-in-harness scheme.
