Agartala, 8th August 2025: The Dharmanagar district and sub-divisional administrations jointly organized a “Tricolour Rangoli” event today as part of the nationwide ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. The event took place in front of BBI Higher Secondary School where students, teachers and officials came together to create intricate rangoli designs in the colours of the national flag.
The rangoli-making ceremony saw enthusiastic participation from students and faculty of both BBI Higher Secondary School and Dharmanagar Girls’ Higher Secondary School. Senior officials including ADM Bijoy Sinha, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Sajal Debnath, Senior Information Officer Sanjib Das, District Education Officer Firanjan Tripura and OSD Samir Nath were present and actively engaged in the event.
Representatives from the district administration, sub-divisional offices, police department and media participated highlighting the collective spirit of the initiative. Speaking to the media personnel, SDM Sajal Debnath emphasized that the rangoli event marks the beginning of a series of patriotic programs under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
Debnath announced that starting August 13, a fair will be held at the Vivekananda Swardha Satabarshiki Bhavan, accompanied by a bike rally to further promote national pride and community participation.
Participants expressed a deep sense of pride and joy in being part of the celebration, describing it as a moment of honour to contribute to the national spirit through creative expression.
