Tripura Anganwadi workers & helpers present six demands to West’s District Magistrate

Agartala, 13th September 2024:   The Tripura Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Association submitted a deputation to the District Magistrate of West district on a six-point charter of demands. The procession began with a gathering in front of the Rabindra Satabrshiki Bhavan here on Friday.

The Anganwadi workers and helpers then marched to the office of the District Magistrate of West District. A delegation proceeded to the District Magistrate’s office, where they handed over a memorandum outlining their six-point demand.

Labor leader Biplab Kar present during the deputation stated that the deputation was submitted to the District Magistrate of West District and the Chief Minister on behalf of the Tripura Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Association. He highlighted the six-point demands and expressed hope that the government would take initiatives to fulfill the needs of the Anganwadi workers and auxiliary associations.
