Tripura Assembly passes resolution thanking PM Modi for Ram Mandir

Agartala, 4th March 2024: During the Tripura Assembly session on Monday, a resolution was passed to express profound gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his steadfast dedication towards the consecration of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.

Following the question hour, BJP legislator Kishore Barman presented the resolution, extending sincere thanks to the Prime Minister for fulfilling the sacred duty of performing the pran pratishtha of Ram Lalla on January 22.

Barman expressed his appreciation to Chief Minister Manik Saha and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ratan Lal Nath for granting him the opportunity to introduce the resolution, acknowledging the significance of the PM’s role in the historic event. He emphasized that the consecration of Ram Lalla was not merely a ritualistic puja but a momentous occasion that has inspired confidence among the people.

Barman stressed that Lord Ram transcends religious boundaries, serving as an ideal figure not only for Hindus but also for millions from diverse faiths. He highlighted the symbolic importance of the consecration, asserting that it will inspire millions and reinforce their sense of duty towards the nation.

He praised Prime Minister Modi for his dedication, mentioning the rigorous 11-day fast and humble accommodations endured amidst harsh weather conditions, showcasing his commitment to the sanctity of the process. Barman also paid homage to those who made sacrifices over the years for the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

Acknowledging the Prime Minister’s demonstration of ‘Raj Dharma’ by according equal respect to all religions, Barman appealed to all members of the assembly, irrespective of political affiliations, to support the resolution, emphasizing that Ram is not a matter of dispute but a symbol of resolution.
