Tripura Cabinet Congratulates PM Modi, Armed Forces on Success of ‘Operation Sindoor’

Agartala, 15th May 2025:  The Tripura State Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, has extended its heartfelt congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian Armed Forces for the successful execution of Operation Sindoor, an anti-militancy mission launched in response to the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgaon, Kashmir, that claimed the lives of 26 Indian citizens.

During the Cabinet meeting held on Wednesday, Chief Minister Dr. Saha presented a resolution on behalf of the state government, which was unanimously adopted by the Council of Ministers.

The resolution described Operation Sindoor as a “befitting response” by the Indian Army to the Pakistan-sponsored terror attack and praised the bravery and professionalism of the armed forces for their swift and decisive action to suppress militancy in the region.

“The successful conduct of this operation under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji reflects India’s unwavering commitment to combating terrorism,” the resolution stated.

The Cabinet reiterated its full support for the Prime Minister’s firm stance against terrorism and echoed his message that India’s fight against such threats will continue relentlessly.

“India stands for peace and non-violence. But any attempt to disturb the nation’s stability will be met with a strong and appropriate response,” the resolution added.The Tripura Cabinet also lauded the coordinated efforts of the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force, whose synergy ensured the operation’s success. In addition, the Cabinet paid tribute to the soldiers and civilians who lost their lives in the Pahalgaon attack and acknowledged the ongoing dedication of all security personnel, including the Border Guard Force, in safeguarding the nation’s integrity and security.
