Agartala, 19th June 2025 : The newly renovated premises of Tripura Gramin Bank (TGB) Kadamtala Branch in North Tripura district has been formally inaugurated today in a grand ceremony. The event marked a significant milestone in the bank’s ongoing efforts to enhance its infrastructure and banking services across the state.
The inauguration was graced by the District Magistrate and Collector of North Tripura district Chandni Chandran, IAS, who served as the Chief Guest. Other dignitaries present included the Lead District Manager (LDM), District Development Manager (DDM), Chairman of the Panchayat Samiti and several valued customers of the bank.
During the program, Satyendra Singh, Chairman of Tripura Gramin Bank announced that multiple branches across the state are scheduled for renovation in the near future. “Tripura will soon witness a network of highly modernised, digital-first Gramin Bank branches, even in its remotest regions,” he said.
At present, Tripura Gramin Bank operates a widespread network comprising: 150 full-fledged branches, 12 Ultra Small Branches (USBs), and 476 Customer Service Points (CSPs).
The newly revamped Kadamtala branch boasts advanced digital infrastructure and modern banking amenities. All the attending dignitaries lauded the bank’s initiative and commended the Chairman for delivering a state-of-the-art banking facility in a rural location.
Officials noted that Tripura Gramin Bank is now on par with mainstream commercial banks in terms of infrastructure and IT-enabled services, reflecting a major leap in rural banking standards in the state.
