Agartala, 6th December 2025: Tripura has earned another proud moment as MLA Pinaki Das Choudhury of the Kalyanpur–Promodnagar constituency has been selected for the Youth Politician Iconic Award at the upcoming International Literature Conference 2025. The prestigious event, organized by the globally renowned Samata Sahitya Academy, will be held on December 27 in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, at the Indian Vidya Bhavan, Kharavela Nagar.
The Academy annually honors distinguished personalities across diverse fields including literature, journalism, music, theatre, social service, education, medicine, sports, and entrepreneurship with awards such as the Lifetime Achievement Award, Asian Diamond Iconic Award, Lord Buddha Golden Award, APJ Abdul Kalam Iconic Award, Mother Teresa Iconic Award, and Global Achiever Award.
Das Choudhury’s recognition comes in acknowledgment of his social initiatives and strong public engagement.
