Agartala, 18th January 2025: Highlighting the state’s progress, Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath announced that Tripura has secured the first position in balancing ‘production and shipping’ with a 99 out of 100 score, according to NITI Aayog’s latest report.
In celebration of TPTL’s second anniversary on January 18, 2025, a health camp was held at Urja Bhavan, organized with ILS Hospital. The camp provided comprehensive medical check-ups for all TPTL employees, including ECG, Blood Sugar Random Tests, Eye Tests, BP Tests, and general consultations.
Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath stated, “When you die, nothing will go with you. Then your wife will accompany you to the door, your son to the cremation ground, society to the grave, and your work for life. Only your name will remain, nothing else.” He praised ILS Hospitals for their pivotal role in healthcare and their collaboration with TPTL.
Minister Nath highlighted the state’s strides in various sectors. “According to the World Health Organization, a person must be physically, mentally, socially, and economically healthy,” Nath said. He noted the rise in per capita income from Rs 1 lakh 444 in 2017-18 to Rs 1 lakh 77 thousand. Tripura scored 82 out of 100 in eradicating poverty, with Tamil Nadu leading at 86. In health, Tripura scored 67 out of 100, while Gujarat topped with 85.
Tripura also made significant progress in providing drinking water, increasing from 3% in 2017-18 to 84%. The state saw a reduction in tobacco and alcohol consumption among males, highlighting successful public awareness campaigns.
