Two held with cannabis from Tripura Sundari Express

Agartala: July 20. Tripura Police has arrested two persons and seized cannabis from Tripura Sundari Express in Dharmanagar railway station today. Police of Dharmanagar police station succeeded in the campaign against drug addiction.

 Based on a tip-off, Police personnel from Dharmanagar police station raided the Tripura Sundari Express when it reached Dharmanagar railway station today afternoon and arrested two smugglers along with 10 kg of cannabis. It is known that 2 youths are Ashak Kumar (30), and Ajit Kumar (27) of Bihar’s Patna. The police have started investigation with a specific case. Lately, it is believed that the ganja smugglers are using the Dharmanagar railway station to smuggle a small amount of ganja outside the state. Dharmanagar police station is actively working to stop this kind of trafficking cycle thinking of people with good sense.
