Two social workers extend support to evicted families of Rayabari in Udaipur

BY TC News Desk

Agartala, May 29, 2023: Jalal Kheedmat Al Insan Foundation Chairman Ali Ashrab Mia alias Jalal Mia was long inspired to do something for the society inspired by former President of Bharat Ratna Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam and popular Chief Minister of the state Prof. Dr. Manik Saha. His main aim is to devote himself to the service of the poor and needy.

As part of this, Foundation Chairman Jalal Miya handed over some food items to the families who were evicted by the government in Raya Bari area of Bagma assembly constituency on Monday.

The helpless people of eight families could not hold back their tears after receiving these food items. Some are living under the open sky and some are living under the demolished houses with their young children. Evicting them in this way seemed to them like a sudden storm in their life. They are in a state of disorientation at present.

Every family is waiting for the help of the government. Otherwise they will have no choice but to take shelter under trees like refugees.

On the same day, at the same time, another social worker of Belonia Matai area, Sukhlal Mia, got the news and distributed clothes to all those families. Sukhlal Mia distributed women’s sarees and men’s lungis and provided financial assistance for food for the children of all the families. Every member of the destitute family was very happy to receive this material.

Besides, the two social workers said that they will be by the side of these helpless families in the coming days as well. Foundation Chairman Jalal Miya also made a humble request to the Chief Minister of the state Prof. Dr. Manik Saha to help these helpless families.
