Udaipur Municipal Council commemorates PM Modi’s birthday with cleaning program

Agartala, September 17, 2023: The Udaipur Municipal Council marked the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with a special cleaning program held on Sunday morning. The event saw the presence of Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, Chairman of the Udaipur Municipal Council Shital Chandra Majumder, and Udaipur SDM Jayanta Bhattacharjee.

The cleaning program, aimed at maintaining the cleanliness of Udaipur city, was initiated by Minister Singha Roy. On this occasion, Minister Singha Roy expressed his deep respect and admiration for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, conveying his wishes for a happy and prosperous future. He acknowledged the Prime Minister’s commitment to serving the 140 crore people of Bharat and urged everyone to work with determination, intelligence, and diligence to contribute to the nation’s betterment.

Minister Roy emphasized the significance of the sanitation workers who play a crucial role in keeping the city clean. He stressed the importance of their health, noting that the city’s well-being is directly linked to their well-being. He commended the efforts of both the country and the state government in ensuring the health of sanitation workers and urged the municipal council to take responsibility for their well-being.

Chairman Majumder also highlighted the municipal council’s commitment to various programs, particularly on October 2nd, which is Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday. This event underscores the municipality’s dedication to improving the city’s overall cleanliness and sanitation.

The cleaning program organized by the Udaipur Municipal Council not only honours the Prime Minister on his birthday but also emphasizes the importance of cleanliness and the health of sanitation workers in the community.
