The festival was organised to provide relief and entertainment to the people from their busy and stressful lives. The contestants, who were selected through a screening test from a large number of applicants, showcased their talent and humour in different languages and genres. The audience enjoyed the performances and applauded the Municipal Council for organising such an exceptional event. Many expressed their wish that the festival should be held more frequently, not just once a year.

The entire program was managed by Abhijit Chakraborty, a senior lawyer and theatre artist of Dharmanagar Bar Association. The event also featured some young school children who impressed the audience with their comic skills. The three girls of Rajbari Higher Secondary School and the three boys of Bir Bikram Institution of Dharmanagar received special appreciation for their acts. The people of Dharmanagar hoped that these children would become great artists in the future.

The festival also had Harbola, who imitated songs by famous artists, and other comedy acts in Sylhet language. The spectators were rolling with laughter at these performances. Those who missed the event felt deprived of a great opportunity to have fun and laughter. The Vivekananda Swardha Satabarshiki Bhavan was filled to its capacity with the enthusiastic crowd.
