Udaipur Press Club pays tribute to Pahalgam attack victims and martyred soldiers

Agartala, 19th May 2025:  The Udaipur Press Club organized a solemn tribute event yesterday evening to honor the memory of the 26 tourists killed in the Pahalgam terrorist attack and the Indian Army soldiers who valiantly retaliated against the assailants. The event took place at the Press Club premises which was attended by dignitaries, journalists and citizens. 

Udaipur Municipal Council Chairperson Shital Chandra Majumdar, senior journalists Swapan Bhattacharjee and Bhaskar Modak, Press Club Secretary Jasim Uddin, Vice-President Ayub Sarkar, Treasurer Nutan Das and several others were present at the commemoration. Attendees observed a minute of silence in memory of the victims before offering floral tributes. 

During the event, Chairperson Majumdar and journalist Bhattacharjee addressed the gathering, condemning terrorism and acknowledging the bravery of Indian Army personnel. They urged citizens to stand united against acts of terror and reaffirm their commitment to national security.
